This took a lot of time to make, but the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism – The Hague (ICCT)'s interactive game on counter-terrorism — which is likely among the first of its kind, if not the very first ever — is done!
Examining the aftermath of a key incident in the study of terrorism, this narrative places readers in the perspective of key actors (such as journalists and prosecutors) as they navigate important dilemmas in the field of counter-terrorism.
By presenting research through a novel approach, I’m hoping this game gets some use as an educational tool for students of security studies, a tool for folks seeking to understand the aftermath of the 2011 Norway Attacks and a demonstration of what digital storytelling can do.
